This week’s supercar is Ferrari 488 Pista.
As the fourth in line of limited-edition, track-focused versions of Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 two-seater, the Ferrari 488 Pista brings an engine to the forefront of the sports car game that is setting a futuristic standard.
More versatile and accommodating than previous models, even on broken pavement, the roughly 8 to 10% stiffer springs remain steady. Sporting a busier outside and interior design than the Speciale before it, the 488 Pista is all about complexity and technological showcasing, bringing together every element of engineering mastery with the finished result.
Starting back in 2004 with the 360 Challenge Stradale, next came he 430 Scuderia, followed by the 458 Speciale – all living up to more than its name. When compared to the the preceding models, the Pista’s engine parts are 50% newer and more powerful.
